The publishing process of GoodWill Journal of Economics, Management, and Accounting follows a rigorous, transparent, and ethical workflow to ensure high-quality scholarly publications. The steps below outline the entire process from submission to publication.
Authors submit their manuscripts online via the journal’s submission platform. Submissions must adhere to the Author Guidelines regarding formatting, referencing, and ethical standards.
The editorial office performs an initial check for scope, originality, and compliance with submission guidelines. Manuscripts failing to meet these criteria are returned to authors without peer review.
All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening using trusted software. Manuscripts with significant similarity to published works are either returned for revision or rejected outright.
Manuscripts passing initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers (Mitra Bestari / Peer Reviewers) with relevant expertise. The peer review is double-blind to ensure objectivity. Reviewers assess originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field.
Based on reviewer comments, the Editorial Board evaluates the manuscript and decides one of the following:
Authors revise their manuscripts according to reviewer and editorial feedback and resubmit within the specified timeframe. The revised manuscript may undergo a second round of review if necessary.
Once all revisions meet the journal’s standards, the manuscript is formally accepted for publication.
The accepted manuscript undergoes professional copyediting and typesetting to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to journal formatting standards.
Authors review the proofs to correct typographical errors or minor issues before final publication.
The final version is published online in both PDF and HTML formats. The journal provides DOI registration for each article via CrossRef, ensuring proper indexing and citation.
Published articles are indexed in international databases, including Scopus, DOAJ, Dimensions, Garuda, ResearchGate, and other relevant platforms to maximize visibility and scholarly impact.
The journal monitors post-publication citations and encourages authors to share their work responsibly. Any post-publication corrections or retractions follow strict ethical guidelines.
