The International Conference on Economics and Business (IECON) is an annual peer-reviewed academic forum organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. The conference, registered with P-ISSN 3089-3682 and E-ISSN 3089-2066, serves as a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research in economics, management, accounting, and related disciplines. IECON brings together academics, researchers, practitioners, and students to present research findings, exchange ideas, and foster scholarly collaboration at both national and international levels. The conference emphasizes innovation, methodological rigor, and the integration of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, in addressing contemporary economic and business challenges. Topics include economics, Islamic economics, management, accounting, and taxation.
