The Influence of Regional Government Expenditures on Economic Growth in Gowa Regency 2015-2022

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence local government spending has on economic development in Gowa district in 2015-2022. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research. The data that is processed is the data that is processed is secondary data from government spending and economic growth in Gowa district in 2015-2022 using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26 application. The results of this study show that the results of testing the data, the coefficient table shows the value of the regression coefficient on the variable government spending has a positive and insignificant effect on economic growth. This is evidenced by the results of data processing using the SPSS application where the coefficient value of government spending is 3.159 with a t count > t table (3.159 <2.447). And evidenced by a significance above 0.05 (0.20> 0.05).
